Hygrophila Corymbosa?

Hi everyone 
I bought this plant this plant sometime ago now it was sold to me as Hygrophila corymbosa.
I was also told it would flower if grown out of water it growing out of the water about 8 months now and all it done is drop it leave everywhere

There are two forms of of it and i can remeber the names One of them has thiner leaves which is the one you have. And in my opinion you shouldnt really let it grow out of the water beacuse if allowed to all the emersed leaves will drop which you have found out im not too sure about the flower however...
