Hydrophonic Growing In Fish Tanks Water Change

i have been test growing tomato in fish tank water in a hydroponic systam..

no nutrients added at all.... just fish tank 'water change' water... changed every 2 days. lights used r CFL 6500k for veg, 2700k for flowering.

man.. the results are breath taking... 2 OZ dry weight.. (sun dried tomatos..? ).

i am surprised..



wondering if i could just put a plant in the fish tank roof ( proper diy) with roots under filter spray bar..??

yeah using fish water for plants has great results however im not sure id want to eat that plant considering the diseases tropicals can carry

as you can grow plant like that with the roots but only some of the hardier ones will live

is it even possible? i probably let my mates eat it first then.. it will be great to see my mate micky with internal parasites..



little worry about these sterss coat/ blackwater extarct trace elements in the plants though.
