JUst thought I would share the wealth and say my little man finally ate pea from my hand

I am so chuffed, I thought it would take alot longer, everytime I offer hand food he will watch me and stalk me but never take anything, but today he was happy to!

my betta used to follow my figure eat bloodworms from my hand everything... but i thikn he died of bloat.. and i also used to be able to stroke his tail... he would come across my hand etc.

oh bless. Hunter wasnt happy with me the other day as i had to touch his head (ended up as a poke) as he had sand from the tank move

no, soph still has him as he is going in the betta divided tank, this little man was from Soph as she needed to free up some space. but he has such personality, so much more friendlier than ANY i have ever had

Congrats! Watch out though. . .once you start feeding them by hand, that makes tending to the tank very difficult. ALSO, two of my four bettas will *only* eat if they're hand fed. One JUMPS out of the water when he sees my hand. Basically they develop NO FEAR. They find the syphon more fascinating than every especially if they see my hand holding onto it.

lol oh dear. he is only offered "treats" by hand.

he still gobbles flake etc. he doesnt seem to like food off the bottom, if i give him pea, he wont eat it off the floor

he is still scared if i move around in the tank mind
