Hrp Tankmates

Hi guys. Thanks kindly to a member on here (he knows who he is) i have some beautiful honduran red points living in my 4x1.5x1.5.
Unfotunatly the 14 of them look so lost.
I was wondering what are some good tankmates? Other cichlids? Catfish?

i think if anyone asks questions regarding HRP's we all know where they have come from

For now? They were living with two BN's in their tank, but they were only in there to keep on top of any algae etc. Wouldn't suggest an other cichlids unless you can source some fry. You will be suprised how much they grow now they have alot more room.

I was just offered a small group of bn plec fry last week. Would fry be ok or just get terrorised?

Depends on size really. Juvi ciclids can be little bleeders, my jade eyeds were sods.

Hmm... Ill wait until they all grow past 2 inch probs then. Sounds safer

I think i got my Jade Eyed's at about 1.5" and they were pretty evil. Always picking on my Angels, and my current female stalked an apple snail, then picked it from its shell

I agree. even though Elliotti's are not normally the most agressive chichlid, they all do when they get a area they call they own.

2 spot has been great up to yet, didn't like the HRP's though.
