hi all just regestered, iv just got into tropical fish, and love them but just found out you supposed to part change the water every wk, iv had mine 2 months , and havent! ooops hope they are gona be ok...

Hi and welcome to the forum...I wouldnt make that a habit of going that long with out water changes..That isnt healthy for you fish...Go to the newbie section part of the forum and you will pretty much get all your questions answered...I will be looking forward to seeing you around..And good luck with your new hobbie...

thanks for the nice welcome, im from the uk by the way, have a plec catfish about 6 inches long which has big white patches on it at the min , sounds like fungus as i have read about it on the net, probably from not changing my water, or sticking to the glass between the heater, and getting burnt?? i also have two kissing gouramis and 4 tetras, my tank is 21 inches high by 32 inches long is this ok?? i love fish!
