How you can tell when a fish is happy

That is it. Those two rainbow cichlids were in there since sunday (it's tuesday), and they already spawned. That is how you can tell you have happy fish, when they get comfortable enough to breed.
 
They are succesfully keeping the eggs safe from the two large firemouths and the other rainbow cichlid, they are very good parents

The spot in the middle is rust, the spot to the side is the eggs :D I would get5 a better picture, but I don't want to spook them and have them eat there own eggs :crazy:
 
oh now i see them lol i thought that rust spot was the eggs.congradulations.i know what you mean by happy fish my male molly got comfy enough when i got him to be the father of 6 baby mollies and more coming :kana:
 
My dad pointed the eggs out, I thought it was rust at first too! Thanks fish_r_great, doggfather and baloon molly for the compliments! Someday they will be big and happy, like their parents :D
 
that is awesome for you dwarf!!! congrats!!!

most of cichlids , as i read so far, they are really good parents!, but again, i said most, not all -_- :p
