How To Store Plants

Hello everyone

Just a quick question - I ordered some plants which have come earlier than expected and won't go into a proper tank till next Tuesday... How would you store them?

Could I get away with simply putting them in a tub of dechlorinated water and adding some ferts and leaving them on the windowsill?

Yup, apparently an airstone can help

If the container is a larger one, you'll need flow to distribute the ferts and the water will go stagnant and develop surface algae though, surely?

Adding an airstone would prevent this

I've got them in a bucket at the moment, it's not too large really, just hope they all do okay these next few days.

I have an air pump but it's in my tank at the moment...

Your tank won't miss it unless you're using it because you've got medications in the tank that reduce oxygen levels?
