How To Stop My Betta Eating....

How do i stop my Betta eating others fish food, i have 2 small pakistani loaches and my betta keeps eating there food.
I always make sure i feed him first, 3 pellets twice a day is this enough?
I feed both 2 completly different types of food too.
Do fish in general just eat till full or like a dog just keep eating?

I do use sinking pellets but my Betta still lingers around the bottom and picks at there food but generally spits it back out.
I even put the pellets in their cave...

Fish are generally opportunistic feeders. In other words, any food is fair game. If he feels he has space in his tum, he'll eat it. There's little you can do, except try feeding them just before lights out or even after, as he will be thinking of sleepy time.
