How To Plant?

I have just got 2 teracotta pot plants and a moss ball, i am in the middle of a fish-less cycle, can i plant them whilst in the cycle? How do i plant them?

What exactly do you mean by terracotta pot plants? You probably know that plants need light and light during a fish-less cycle is quite likely to cause algae?

Crap how much light do the plants need? Can they stay out of water till my cycle is over? they just come in a little tiny china pot nice for a tank.

If they really are aquatic plants, just put them into some tupperware full of water or a vase on a warm windowsill. Also plants don't grow particularly well in pots usually...

I have just put them in if they go funny i'll just take them out i have my light on a lot of the time

Hopefully they still have some n-bacs on
