How do I make a moss wall for my background. Does anyone know or have pics?

If you can get some kind of textured backing for the tank you can do it. I have seen it growing on the black textured backing you can buy for juwel tanks. It would be a case of attaching a few pieces of it and letting it take hold I guess. I've seen it done years ago but only once.

You need some stiching canvas from you craft shop and some fishing line and a few suckers to stick it to the back of the tank

Basicly weave the fishing line through the holes in the stiching canvas attaching the moss to it and use the sucker to stick it to the back of the tank.

you genius simon. i've been thinking of a material i can use for riccia carpets. something i can cut to shape to go around plants and into contours etc.....

that would be absolutly perfect......(off to a craft shop with a big smile on my face.......)

Instead of using suckers to stick it to the back glass, use magnets. Just glue them to the inside layer of the stitching canvas grid and cover entirely in silicone. Then use magnets on the outside of the tank. This means the wall will be entirely flush against the glass.

O||O

O is a magnet
| is canvas and glass

I'll have some pics up in a couple of days to make it easier to understand.

Oh, and not my idea by the way so I disclaim credit!
