I am presently having difficulties getting any food to my corydoras as my rummy nose tetras are such porks they eat the entire pellet I drop !

Here is what I do:
I feed the entire tank, one one side of the tank, and drop the pellet at the very opposite of the aquarium. Once the rummynose, gourami and celestial pearls have finished their eating frenzy, the rummy nose instantly go for the pellet, which they find easily I don't know how..

How would I go about feeding my corydoras, to ensure they eat enough stuff?

You could get bigger pellets... I have big shrimp pellets that my rams and guppies can't eat.  And when i feed live frozen food I just hold the cube in there briefly so some of the foods goes floating off for the non bottom feeder fish.  Then i hide the food in the sand a bit-so only the corys can dig and eat it.  It works very well if you have sand.

Last case you could just keep feeding slowly till your tetras get too full to eat more... :p

Hope this helps!

I had the same sort of problem with my panda Cory's when I got them and here is a list of things I tried to help them to feed and now they feed very well and get just as much food as everyone else.

1. It could be a confidence thing when I first introduced my Cory's they were very shy now there not (don't know how long you have had yours if it's a while disregard the information)

2. You can use a turkey baster or syringe to pump the food to the bottom of the tank (never tried this)

3. You can feed them with the lights out (I tried this but found it to be a bit of a hassle as I like feeding my fish all together)

4. If you don't already you can defrost the frozen food in a cup of tank water and then when you put it in the tank some sinks very quickly and some takes a longer time to reach the bottom. ( this is what I use to feed my Cory's)

My Cory's have the same sort of tank mates as yours so hopefully one of the ways will work and I hope the information I provided helped from Tom

I tink Seal36 point#4 is achievable.. I once accidentaly wet my fish pellets which supose to be floating but the wet ones straight away dive in!

so maybe you can try a combination of dry n wet ones..

I wil try later! lol

I'll try the frozen method but I'm afraid my fish will eat it all well before it goes to the bottom! You should see those rummynose, they are such pigs!

I feed my Corys Aquarian advanced nutrition sinking pellets. They are recommended for catfish and loaches, they have a nice size, so they get shared around easily.

The good thing with melting the frozen cubes is that some of them sink extremely quickly and land on the bottom for the Cory's and then some of the food takes longer to sink so it gets eaten by the top and middle swimming fish. In my opinion it's the best way to feed frozen food as it gets distributed equally between all levels. Also Ashley do you feed your Cory's meat as well or is it just pellets from Tom

Hey there!
I have tried the method you mentioned, (frozen cube) and wow! Everybody had a piece of it!
It's so nice, I'm wondering why aren't all frozen foods in that format? It's so convenient! It was nice to finally see my cories get a piece of something! :D

Yeah it's great I love doing it like that and sometimes to make it even better I empty the cup with the defrosted food in right next to the filter output so not only does it cover all levels but the filter spreads it around the tank. I know I had really difficulties feeding my panda Cory's when they first came in. What didn't help for me was I had a very active group of 10 five banded barbs that were beating the Cory's to the food and scaring them as they were so active. I think that we have the technology now to change the way frozen food is packaged what I would love to see if live food that is put to sleep and frozen and then wakes up and becomes live food once it has defrosted from Tom
