How To Feed Frozen Food?

I always defrost in some tank water and then drop some in and the rest get placed onto substrate for cories. Have started draining all the 'used' water first though because apparently bloodworms leach stuff and this isn't particualrly good for the tank, nothing that bad or that a decent and regular water change won't sort i am sure but guess it does no harm to drain them...

do the chemicals from the frozen foods affect the water parameters?

I have a frozen food pot (a little tupperware one) that lives with my fishy bucket, jug gravel vac etc. Just defrost the cubes in there with some tank water and then pour in and watch the fun!!

I haven't noticed a change in water stats but I've never checked straight after feeding - it's blood worm night tonight - maybe I'll do a test!
