How To Check Water Hardness/ Softness

I wanted to see if my water is hard or soft as i was planning to get some fish, and it is always good to know you water hardness // softness

Purchase the testing products - there are many types available at your local fish store. GH tests measure the general hardness while PH tests measure how alkaline or acid the water is - both are good to be aware of.

When you get your GH test kit check the GH in your tap compared to the GH in your tanks. See if anything in the tanks has raised the GH.

K thx. I have ph ammonia nitrate and nitrite kits just not GH test kits. Time to go get that now
