How To Catch This Fish?

Hi im new to this site and was wondering how to catch or trap mosquito fish that are in the wild. i get them from a drainage canal and need a better way of catching them.

I have these local to me too! I caought them by standing in one area very still then slowly coaxing them into shallower waters and when they weren't expecting it, I put the net over the water slowly the suddenly swoopinto the net intothe water and had about 5 to 7 every time I did this

neat that sounds cool! the only problem is that where they are is in a giant concrete tube 3 feet in diameter, do u know what they would eat

Probably small microorganisms, small inverts and shrimp

These fishes are abundant at where I live but IMO it's not worth the time to catch
