How do I attach my anubias to my driftwood? I read that it does better attached. It already has a good amount of roots

Is there any specific way to do it with the roots? Do the roots kind of just hang there?
Nope. You don't have to do a specific way for the roots. You can either leave it alone or plant it, but make sure you don't bury the rhizome.

You attach the rhizome to the wood (or rock or whatever decor) and the true roots will hang in the water. If they can reach the substrate they may burrow into it, doesn't matter either way.

With wood I like to find a crevice or split in the wood and carefully push the rhizome in, but plain cotton thread or fishline can be used. Some use super glue (not me).

Super glue works and it works easily if you can't find any crevices to attach plants to. Downsize to super glue is that it will leave a white residue if you were to remove the plants from hardscapes.

Could I cut a crevice with my pocket knife?

Don't see why not, but it is very easy to split wood (think of chopping firewood, one cut and the wood splits completely) so go slow!

That's interesting, I have anubias heterophylla and it's got some good and strong roots already. I attach it the same exact way as the regular one?

Thanks everyone:)
