Ok so i want to move him from his glass tank with the table lamp for a light into a proper tank

heres what i found

That is a PRICEY little tank!!! Is that how much tanks like this are in the U.K. normally? Wow. I wouldn't be able to own fish at those rates.

I would ask if it's acrylic or glass first, I hate acrylic tanks, they get algae on them and any time you use a suction cup it marks the acrylic so ask the seller.

On a positive note, he is a great seller and I've met him in person and he's really helpful, so if it's not glass he will point you in the direction of a tank that is!

I don't think he will do, I've asked him about best prices before. I think you should get an arcadia tank, they are cheaper, made of glass and way sexier. Come with a light too.

problem is, its 2 inches too wide for where it needs to go

i have been looking at one, they are sooo nice, but i cant fit it lol

basiclly the girls tank is on a stand, and sobeks tank is at the bottom of the stand

behind his tank is my external fluval, and then i have all my sockets, my filter is as far back as it will go, and my plugs r too

it would over hang by 2cm, which isnt a massive problem as its almost touching the floor, im just not sure its a good idea

what do ya reckon?

so the space is 27cm deep? what is the base of the stand made of? is it slatted or solid?

its solid, the base is basically the floor see here

the arcadia will over hang the front by 2cm exactly

its 25cm deep, and the space i have for it is only 23cm deep on the bottom of the unit, so again 2cm over hang

The arcadia is well sexy. I would buy that one!!! For me form is just as important as function.
