pregfish1.jpgpreg_fish.jpgThis guppy is my largest one. I'm sure she's pregnant. She was this big when I got her from the store. I have a baby saver and baby hide out artificial plants already ordered and will hopefully arrive in a couple days. But she looks like she's going to pop any minute! Of course I've never bred guppies before so I can't say I know what I'm talking about. I'd love others opinions. Thx a lot. If you can't view the photo I placed in attachments please let me know. I just made the account a couple minutes ago. lol Thanks.

Both of the females in the first photo are almost ready to give birth. You're looking at three or four days, tops, by my estimate. They aren't showing much of a gravid spot but you can tell that they're pregnant with no doubt. They'll have a LOT of fry.

I can't see a gravid spot but I think she'll pop in more ways then one
She does look very bloated

Thank you both for replying. Yeah, I noticed in the pic you can't see the spot. But I can see a large spot on her. Almost all my female guppies have large gravid spots, but this one pictured is the biggest. Can you sell fish in ebay? lol If all my females are going to be having babies...they won't fit in this 10 gal tank!

Some people do sell them on ebay or others give them to their LFS, some give credit for them
I lnow how you feel all 3 of my females are pregnant and I found 1 fry this morning but I haven't got a clue which one it is as none of them have 'squared' off

I'm preparing myself to let nature take its course. I know they eat their young. So I suppose that might do just as well. Kinda puts a knot in my stomach though.

I also have a small tank full of livebearers that are busily overstocking it for me :)

www.aquabid.com The only problem with this site is that only the rare or attractive strains sell well on here because of the nuisance of shipping fish interstate. You can try to sell some on there, or offer to give them away.
