I would like to get some, but I heard they are sensitive fish. I have a 29 US, see siggy for stocking. I keep the water around 79F and I usually don't have ammonia or nitrite. I do a 30 to 40% water change every two weeks to remove nitrates. I don't measure pH and hardness, but in my area according to our provider the pH is 6.9 to 7.5 and hardness is 30ppm (soft). So my first question is could I keep them healthly?
My second is would they get along with my other fish?

If the answer is no, what about Bolivians?

it depends on what is already in the tank...whats in their at the moment? you need to measure your GH and PH in your tank as things in the tank may change your tap reading...anything under 10 degrees GH is fine and a PH under 7 and temp 28-32 oC

GBR's are cool fish. I really like them especially the hybrid yellows.

IME, 79F is too cold for GBR's. IIRC, 28C is 82F. They're susceptible to infections at less than that. I learned that the hard way. Bolivians will take 79F fine.

Good luck. They are cool.

I agree, i wud prob set temp to 81 f. other then that the tank size is fine and the pH wud be great at about 6.8 but around 7 is acceptable. As for what u have in the tank, i wudnt no, ur stocking isnt listed in your sig.
