How Quick Do They Grow

Since all you guys have had years experiance or at least some with cichlids. I was just curious how fast would my mbuna grow? I have 2 yellow labs and Cobalt blues, they are juveniles between 4-6cm at the moment.

Like would you notice alot of growth within the first 2months say?

It depends on the size of tank, water stats, food, and so on.

With a proper size tank and regular feeding they will grow pretty quick. If the yellow labs are a pair the male will grow quicker cause in do time the female will be holding eggs and not eating.

IME labs grow slower than other species, so don't be surprised if your cobalts (m.callainos) grow much quicker.

true, i have heard of cobalts growing alot in a month say half and inch to an inch, it really all depends on the size tank, food, and water chemistry like already said
