And the nearest one is happen to a RTBS I have about a monthes ago. I found him dry up and fish jerky like laying on the back of my tank :(. But as many of u probably dont use lad for ur tank. As the lighting stuff I'm currently have I require to remove the lad inorder to put my lighting unit over my tank the one that hang over the tank.

that post is so hard to read
I'm not sure exactly what you saying/asking?

I think he's asking how many times you've found jumpers dried out on the carpet.

Just once, one of my harlequins jumped for some not very apparent reason. There was a tiny little gap at the back of the tank, for cables and stuff ... she managed to jump out of that.

took me a while to work out what you were asking.jerky?

ive never had a fish jump before!

Acturally I found that word in a chinese supermarket in my city. Which I usually go there to get my cucumber since its near where I live. And it happen that I saw alot of those squire kind of stuff namly beef/chicken/salmon jerky hanging in front of the market. I go ask some one who work there whats those stuff. He tell me that those r meat that made to some kind of food like dry up and can be eaten any time. So I thought it would apply to the fish I have at home that jump out too because they r dry up like those from the market.

I was with you for the first half, but that last part made my brain implode.

Not yet but I discovered a fish flopping about on the floor at the new pet shop which opened in town this week whom I managed to stick back in a tank.I havent a clue what the rest of your post is about but if I found a lad near my tank I would tell him to go home

IMCL85 Not meaning to sound rude but i always find reading your replies a challenge, Perhaps you could proof read them after writing to just clear up sentences. Obviously we dont expect people to know how to spell every word in the book but if you could just make sure your sentences make sense im sure youll get more replies and help as well as having your help understood clearly.
Lol sorry if i sound like your teacher :*) :p

I had a 20 gallon tank set up in my classroom and had set up a container of aquarium water in the sink next to the tank in preparation for an experiment (not with my fish!) When I was ready to finish setting up the experiment with the aquarium water, I found one of my harlequins swimming around in the container of water in the sink. It must have jumped out of a very small gap between the filter and heater and flopped around on the counter until it caught a lucky bounce into the container of water in the sink! Unfortuately I panicked and immediately dumped it back in the tank where it went belly up. :byebye:

No fish jerky here either.

Had a couple of flappers, when have been doing major clear outs.........but all have been returned to the land of re-hydration pretty quickly.......... :D

I have lids on all the tanks..........however, there are gaps.......just very, very small ones.......... :shifty:

i've never had anyone jump out of my tank, but when we have had a big clean out on of our bala sharks jumped out of the bucket, they really don't like being away from thier home!!
but i have heard of fish jumping out of the tiniest of gaps and ending up on the covering or the floor :(
maybe you should get one of those clear seal tank covers and ensure that the feeder flap is shut, then you can have your lights on, but don't need to worry about any jumpers or fish jerky! :)
