For Bolivian Rams to chase each other? Especially one doing all the chasing? Do females chase each other? I'm not sure which I have in my son's tank but their breeding areas look the same on both so I figure it's either 2 females or 2 males.

My Rams have always chased each other, it's just a simple matter of 'who's boss'. It is no doubt the male doing the chasing, and I'd be almost surprised if there was no chasing going on. Nothing to worry about :)

They're just letting each other know where they can/can't go.

It should settle down eventually, mine did it all the time and eventually seemed to get bored of it... And I had a female that chased the other female too.

Make sure there are plenty of hiding spots, like plants/wood etc. Any fin damage? Does the fish look stressed or no?

Thanks for the replies guys!

My son and I are new to Bolivian Rams but I'm used to some "healthy aggression" from my Gouramis.
