Hi,
I have 6 Neon tetras, 4 Norman Lampeye and  a Betta,

I usually feed flakes but occasionally feed frozen blood worm. (Which I have to cut up as too big for all the fish)

How much flakes should I be feeding? At the moment I put in about half a teaspoon as i'm worried about over feeding.
I don't want to accidentally starve my fish, and what are symptoms of starving fish?

A hungry fish is a healthy fish.

As much as they can eat in 2.5 mins.

for a rough indication 1 pinch should do  for frozen bloodworm i dont know

Half a tsp at each feeding seems a lot to me. My 7 rasbora and 5 cherry barbs probably only get a quarter tsp of flakes/day. The Cory's get a few catfish wafers and 2 shrimp pellets. Everyone is healthy.
