Bit worried. I put in enough for the 20% of water I was putting back in. Or should I have added for the whole tank? I put 4 drops but would normally put 16 for the whole lot. What's right? Should I add more or not?

There are two (main) ways of doing it. You can either;

1: just add the conditioner to the new water in the bucket before it goes in. In that case you need only add enough conditioner for the new water. This is probably the easiest way for small tanks like yours.

2: add enough conditioner for the whole tank, to the tank and then you can add the water straight in. This is how most people with large tanks do as a lot of us use hoses for refilling :)

I added it to the bucket so I'm ok then? I just added enough for the bucket.

Thanks I panic myself lol. I worry too much. I'd hate myself if my fish died because of me.
