look at this, I saw it and had to laugh. I really find it hard to believe anyone would use it.

 Yuck

yellow bogwood?

J4MES
It's probably from a banana tree. Seriously, people use pink and purple gravel so why wouldn't someone want yellow bogwood. I wonder what color the water would be after it started leeching tannins.

Pink, purple, blue...all of that colored crap should be banned. One has to wonder what people are thinking by using pink freaking gravel. It's nauseating to look at.

Maybe they're color blind. Who knows. To each their own though.

Wow... way to be a tank nazi. Just b/c YOU don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be available to the people that do.
I don't like neon gravel or ornaments, but I'm not gonna sit here and say that they should all be banned just b/c I don't like them. Good grief.

As for that bogwood... it is pretty ugly imo... can't even imagine what the blue and whatever other colors they have look like.. wonder what they do to dye it?

Haha. Colored bogwood. I wonder how deep they dyed it. Be funny if it was just on the surface because if anybody had a pleco you'd see spots all over after it starts chewing on it.

Just wait! They'll be colorful painted bogwood soon with art designs on it. :)

I don't think it looks that bad at all, would probably look very nce if you have a pile of that wood on a pure white sand substrate  .

It also says on the advert that it is completely sealed so no need to soak !!! What do they seal it with ? Wouldnt fancy the idea of a pleco chewing on some varnish lol :p

If it's completely sealed, then it will never absorb water and will therefore never stay submerged unless you find a way to weight it down. Soaking is as much to get a piece of wood waterlogged as it is to get it to leech out tannins.

The other one looked moderately natural, but this is just nasty!!
