Best to keep ONE Shark PER Tank, especially Ruby (Rainbow) and Redtails as they will fight to the death.

any one??

They aren't in the tanks in the LFS for very long. In a long-term situation they will try to establish territories and that is where problems will arise. Silver sharks are the only exception as they are schooling fish, but having seen them grow to over a foot long I wouldn't recommend trying to keep a group of them in a 70gal.

Silver/Bala sharks are a bit different than other sharks - they're a schooling fish, and should be kept in a group, which makes their tank requirements even bigger. The one-per-tank rule goes for sharks like red tailed black sharks, which are intolerant of their own kind or anything that looks like their own kind (and just about everything else sometimes).

Any kind of stocking question is very confusing for the newcomer after a visit to the LFS.

I can remember when I started 5-6 years back (OMG where did all that time go! ) and couldn't understand why I was only meant to have 3-4 fish in my, then, sized tank when in the LFS they had like a zillion guppies in the same sized tank

When explained properly it all becomes evident :good:
