Can I put in My Front Garden Pond.

It is 16 Litres. 12 Inches Deep and 30 Inches In Diameter.

It is made from an old Black Rubber Bin - Cut Down.
There are Plenty off Creepy Crawlies - BloodWorm + Daphnia

Plants in it Are.

1 Dwarf Lily - Pink

3 Marginal Plants - Yellow Flag Iris and some White Flowering things??

Will Post Pix Later, Once the Water Settles. Just Cleaned out all the Crap from Winter and Spring. I have used Aged Water from a Water Butt.

I doubt they would survive the winters here in the UK if you mean Coventry Uk is you location? Especailly in a pond only 12" deep.

They do Last the Winter.

I have had them in the Other Ponds in the Back Garden, and they are Above Ground Level.

At 12"? No Goldfish or other Coldwater fish would last long in that depth, the minimum recommended is 18" but you can get away with 16". When the water freezes this allows a pocket of warm water to form at the bottom of the pond for the fish, however, in 12" the warm pocket is to near the ice and turns cold.

Ok.

Thats why they survived then. The other ponds are deep enough.

Why not keep them in the other ponds.

Haven't Cleaned them Properly Yet.

Have cleaned the Crap off the Plants and started up the Filter.

Decholrinated the Water and added Chemicals.

Need to colonize the Ponds with Creepy Crawlies. Waiting for the Pots to be Colonized, and then will Empty them In.

Some of them have Got Mayfly and Dragon Flys.

The others have Egg sacs around the Edges. Once these have Hatched I will Add them.

Its just that the Front Garden 1 is ready. And the Others Are not.

Its Allright.
I am keeping the Dragon Fly's and Mayflys for the Bettas. They Go Crazy as soon as they go in their Jars.

They eat them within 5 Secs of seeing them.

I am Going to Go for a Weather Loach, and Maybe 3 White Mountain Clouds.

I can then move them all into the Main Tank in the Autumn.
