My platy finally i think is pregnant. She is much larger and finally has a gravid spot. Im pretty sure its no overfeeding this time as when pic was taken, hadnt been fed for 1-2 days.

Definitely looks like the start of a pregnancy...I'd give her a couple more weeks though.

id say 2 weeks 3 max. she does look quite big but as she gets more pregnant you will notice she will slow down and start to linger near the surface and wont move much.

Well, last night she was still her hyper self as usual. Woke this morning to find about 11 babies swimming around the tank. Great.... so ive had a few eaten.

Congratulations on the fry. They are always fun when they arrive. If you run your tanks at the typical mid to high 70s, mark the date on your calendar and count off 4 weeks Keithoms. When you get to the 4 weeks you will either be seeing the next drop or will know that it could happen at any moment. That way you can be ready at exactly the right time for the next drop. The main thing is it lets you plan ahead for providing a cycled tank for the fry to grow out and lets you get ready with fry food like microworms or baby brine shrimp for rapid initial growth.
