How Many Times For Water Change?

hello i was just wondering how many times a week you have to do a water change in a 4 foot x2footx2foot tank?

because my friend says he needs to do a 10% water change evrey day.

dose it matter what fish you have in your tank when you do water changes?

25 to30% every fortnight i have to 5x2x2 and only do 20 to 30 % every two weeks what is 1cd every day

The frequency of water changes depends mostly on your bio-load /fish / feeding /waist/respiration .

10 to 20% once a week is a good start for most tanks .

If you have a tank of large , well feed fish , more frequent changes may be needed, and or larger amounts of water should be changed .

treat the water you are replacing with aquarium water conditioner [ nuetralizes chlorine / chloromine amoung other things ]

try to keep the new water close to the Aquariums water temp .
