Eariler today I aked what to do to help clam my bigger Silver Dollar down as he always seems scared and has lately been slamming himself into the walls of the tank andi injuring himself Everyone threre recommended that I get more Silver Dollars, so I had a couple of questions.

1. Will Silver Dollars school with similar species such as Red Hooks?

2. Can I even put one or two more Silver Dollars in the tank without overstocking it? My tank is 75 gallon and Currently I have:

3 Silver Dollars
1 Little Scale Knife
5 Zebra Danios
1 Angelfish
1 Sailfin Pelco
1 Marble Hatchetfish

Depending on the dimensions of the tank, I would take your silver dollars back to your lfs. They need to be in groups of at least 5-6 and need a lot of swimming space.

They definitely will be less skittish when in a larger group but still get scared easily and you need to make sure there's no sharp objects in the tank which could injure the fish.

Dimentions of the tank are (approximately): 1.5 foot wide, 2 feet tall, 4 feet long

There's no sharp objects in the tank, just plastic plants and a piece of imitation driftwood. The one Dollar is injuring himself by swimming like mad and ramming into the sides of the tank.

Personally I wouldn't but you might just be able to squeeze a couple more in there. I guess it's down to opinion.
