Hi All,

Just bought myself a Juwel Vision 180 and I'm currently working on the contents. Looking at the various plants you can get, I've noticed a couple of places which advertise collections for a 30" tank, which consist of @ 70 plants. This sounds quite a lot of plants to me, the vision is 92cm x 41 cm, realistically how many plants should I look to get in it.

Thanks,

Keith

When they say 70 plants that's 70 stems, so when bunched together in fives to make 1 actuall plant, you'd end up with 14 plants.

But there's a chance that not all of them will be suitable for your tank, if, like me they included some high light demanding types. But you can see which do well for you then get more of them. Hope that helps.

Agreed. I'd only get a "collection" if I was getting a reasonable discount and they actually based the selection off of the conditions and goals of my tank, not just what they've got a lot of lying around.
