How Many Gallons ?

Just wondering if female bettas need more/less or just the same amount of gallons as males? I think I could be tempted to buy a female today as I have never had one yet.. x

the same sort of size really or you could buy a really big tank and have loads (like mine lol)

Thankyoo.. Haha no more big tanks for me just now.. Have already 3 on the go plus 2 small ones.. and if I get a female betta today that will be another small one.. x

lol I know the feeling, we are running out of room and my fella suggested we keep 2 big tanks in the living/dining room. I said no, as we would have no more room to move lol but I am having to sell our 6 gallon hex to get another tank I can divide for some more boys lol!

LOL my fella would never suggest getting more tanks, but probably wouldn't stop me either. We got rid of the big baby items in one corner of the living room and he thought 'yay space!' I had other ideas though and hence another 25 gallon tank

My fella is a big softy and he loves all his animals, and as we can't have anything other than fish in our flat it's a bit like a public aquarium! My birthday present was a tank to divide for two boys, and a friend of mine is getting rid of his bettas (wants a Malawi tank) and I was going to say no we have no room, Wes said 'don't say no, I'll buy you another tank so we have the room!' I've got him wrapped round my little finger

Yeah my boyfriend dosnt mind all the tanks either..Its just the space for them and getting them beside a plug socket ..I have 3 in my living room and 2 in the spare bedroom along with the P.C.. I have goldfish in 1 of my tanks Im hoping to give these to my mums friend who has an outside pond and free up the space for more bettas... WoooHooo Lol X

I have 2 females (& 3 males; all separately of course!), but they live separately.
Yeah they have the same size as the male.
Unless you're housing them together; which then yes they'll need bigger space.
