Hi, I have a 60 liter tank that is fully cycled, and levels are good, but thats not the issue. The tank is 24" wide x 12" long x 12" deep.

I currently have 1 Platty, 3 Balloon Mollies, and 6 Mollies, and 1 apple snail.

Just wondering what advice people have on good stocking levels, an online form suggests 24 or so small fish, but I always trust experienced people like yourselves above a generic web form!

Thanks in advance

Alan

I would say you're pretty much fully stocked.
Mollies can grow to 4 inches, & I have seen platys nearly as big

Quite a few people (including myself) use the rule of one inch per gallon, but then i take one or two inches of it. Your tank is 13 UK gallons, so about 11inches.:good: I would also say you've reached your stocking limit

Sorry CosmicChild87 but we do not allow links to things that can be determined right here. Your post now has a broken link. As Cazgar has suggested, you seem to be fully stocked right now. An apple snail is reckoned to be 2.5 gallons, about 10 litres, by snail breeders at adult size and adult mollies are each a stock for around 2 gallons 8 litres, each. At only 60 litres, around 18 gallons the way I look at things, you have already arrived at a full stocking level.
