I want to put 4 angels, 5-7 congo tetras, 5 long finned black widow tetras, 5 black widow tetras,1 common pleco is that to many? Also the pleco is alittle bit stunted and probly won't get bigger than 10" long he is 4"-5" long now.

Did you mean to write "5 long finned black widow tetras, 5 black widow tetras"? Or just 5 longfinned black widow tetras.

Anyway, that would be fine IMO. Watch out for the Angels though, they can get quite aggresseive. Expecially during spawning.

No I meant 5 long finned black widow tetras and 5 black widow tetras (they are different kinds of the black tetras since the long finned black widow tetras were bred to have long fins)

Oh ok. Either way, I think it'd be ok, just watch out for the Angels.

I was just going to add the congos, black widow tetras, and the common pleco in first that way they can claim there territory and then add the angels and then they won't think that the tetras and pleco are invading there space or anything and when and if the angels spawn I'll collect their eggs and toss them so they don't become aggressive.

Yea, that's a good idea. Introduce the most aggressive fish last.

Good luck with that...

55 gallons is not enough for a common pleco. Not sure why you would think the pleco is stunted? Inless of course he has not grown at all in the last few years, but you seem to think he will still grow anohter 5 inches??? Not sure what you talking about there. But I don't think he'll stop at 10'. Common plecs get very big and a 55g really is not big enough for them.

I know its not big enough but its bigger than the long 20g and the reason I think he is stunted is because when I first got him he was 3"-4" long in the 10g and now since he is in the long 20g he has grown about an inch which makes me think that since some of you all said they are suppost to grow about an inch a month and I've already had him about 2 years or alittle more and he has only grown an inch or two.

^I think everyone within a mile of this forum is. ;)

I like the idea of your Angels.
One of the mistakes I made was doing an african cichlid tank. That narrows EVERYTHING down to very slim, and theres soo m any fish I can't have, even the decor!
I think the first step I should have taken was a community tank, much more you can do with that. Especially if your like me and like the color.
Plus all the best Cichlids can't go together.
Oh well, lifes tough. Atleast now I have the expeirence with them, eh?
Just my 2 cents.
