How Many Discus In 53 Gallon?

I have a Juwel 240 Litre which is 52.8 Imperial Gallons with seven Discus (pictured minus one). I think I probably have too many but how many can fairly go in a 50 Gallon?

6 should be no problem at all.i have a 240 as well so see my sig.ps i also keep discus.

Wow nice discus u got there . For ur 53g you could hold arround 6 discus. I always buy discus in pairs and no lesser then 3 pairs as the bigger one will chase and bully other smaller one so when u have like 5 more with him the aggression between each fish will draw out the bully attention toward just one fish. There isn't a mating pair, I wish there was but all they seem to do it attack eachother unless its feeding time or when they're scared sh!tless during a water change.

They seem too young to be mated pairs. You still have a chance! Just wait a few more months.
