How Many Cherry Shrimp Should I Get

I'm going to the LFS to get some Cherry shimp tonight. My tank cycled 6 weeks ago and I added fish around that time. I have waited to make sure everything is stable which it is.

Please suggest how many RCS I can/should add.

Biorb 60L

1 dwarf Gourami
2 dwarf platies
3 guppies

2 anubias plants (one on diftwood)

Will be adding another driftwood with javafern and a Moss ball in the future.

IMO, you could add 10-20, although i would suggest starting off with 10 as they will breed.

Be careful, your dwarf gourami may well see them as food, depending on their size.

They may spend a lot of their time hiding from him.

Any suggestions? Should I only get 5 at first to see if they make it? Should I feed the fish first then wait for them to settle down and then add them? Any other thoughts?

i would imagine they get eaten sorry to say, the cherry shrimp are very small even as adults

no harm trying if you got lots of hiding places as they may be lucky and survive, cant guarantee it though sorry.

No copper treatmens been used in the tank before? also not sure 6 weeks is long enough for the tank to become established. Its normally 6 months+ before its considered established

no copper treatments used. So I need to wait 6 months before adding RCS? I was told only a couple weeks after I added the fish. The tank has been running 4 months now (3 months fishless cycle and over a month now with fish and plants). Should I wait 5 more months till I get the shrimp?
