Most the fish you've picked liked to be in groups...
Cory's - no less than 6
tigerbarbs - no less than 6, the more the merrier, they are a bit nippy towards other fish if they don't have enough barbs to bother
gouramis - it depends on what kind you are looking at, these may not fit in with your tank..
Sharks - only 1! They are very aggressive to their own and similiar kind. I would suggest the Rainbow
Black Widow - or any kind of tetra for that matter - at least 6
Neons - 5 is fine, 10 is better

It's a good idea to decide first whether you want an active and boisterous tank, or a peaceful gracefully flowing one.

Tiger barbs belong in the former category as does the red-tailed or rainbow shark (only one per tank as they are super-territorial).

Cories are gentle little creatures who do not understand about territories and cope badly with aggression.

Gouramis can be pretty nasty in themselves (they are territorial) but are easily stressed out if other fish are nippy.

Black widows can be nippy.

Neons shouldn't be too worried by either of these setups as long as you don't get a gourami big enough to swallow them.

A nice peaceful tank might feature a trio of pearl gouramis (1 male, 2 females), a school of 10 neons and 6 corys; that would be very visually appealing.

Or if you prefer something more rambunctious, a large school of tiger barbs and a red-tail black shark.

If you like the Tiger Barb 'look', but would like a peaceful tank, you could try Pentazona Barbs. I've had eight for a while now, and they're fabulous, very underrated. Go for the females, as they're considerably larger than males, more of a Tiger Barb size.

somewhat a peaceful tank with some colors ..... i want one or 2 groups of gouramis perhaps a dwarf kinds which is the best kinds or one of the bigger one just wanted a few different sizes in the tank rather all same size wise but adaptable with each other with out get eaten -_- :fish: :fish: :fish: :thanks:
