How Long?

I was just wondering about how long it takes for a molly/guppy/platy to finish delivering fry. I bought a molly today and put her in my quarentine tank, and I just noticed two fry swimming around! Does it take hours or days for them to finish dropping the fry?

Also I will post pics of the new babies when I get some good pics

It is usually a matter of a few hours but it can vary quite a bit.

My molly dropped two fry that are still alive and there were about four that were dead, some were still folded in half. Would the stress of netting her and transporting her home make her drop some fry prematurely? The fry seem quite small, smaller than the guppy fry I had.

Molly fry that are smaller than guppy fry are premature. Molly fry are usually quite large compared to guppy fry.
