How Long?

If it is your standard sized breeding net, I don't see a problem with keeping them in there until they are large enough to avoid being lunch (a couple of weeks).

yep how old/ big would they have to be to avoid being eaten by

opaline gourmais
zebra danios
neon tetras
albino cories
common plec
albino plec
guppies

3 to 4 weeks, perhaps longer depending on how much you feed them. I still think that they would be fine...

Basically when they are bigger than the mouth of your largest fish.

kk tanks. Get it tanks not thanks! hehe not funny hey but oh well! But seriously thanks. Also my ammonia is a pee colour and my swordtail males gills have gone reddish. Also he keeps chasing my male guppies around. The male gups have long lines out of their tail.

Ammonia a pee colour? you mean the test out come was yellow? if so thats good.

Test your nitrite.

API freshwater master test kit.

The only time I've seen that color in an API kit was when the aquarium water contained a lot of tannins from wood in the tank causing the normal yellow color to become more golden. As long as it is not greenish in color, I wouldn't be too concerned. You should still check your Nitrtes as 5teady suggested...

Are the"long lines" out of their tails caused by fin nipping or something else such as fin rot?

i have the same kit and yellow for ammonia means 0. if it was 0.25 it would have a very slight greenish-yellow tone.

I put some bog wood in about a month ago. Nitrites? no2 or no3? I don't know put my male swordy picks on them any time they get close to his girlfriends lol. Can't find matt i think he's dead. I give up on guppies.Gonna do a water change today then test later.
