Okay, i bought another angel today. He/she is about 1 and a half inches tall. I want to put him/her with my bigger 4 to 5 inch tall angels, but im afriad they'll kill him/her. So i put him/her in a 10g with some baby fish and guppies to grow out a little bit. I also bought 2 things of Frozen BBS so i can power feed him/her. HJow long do you think it'll take before i can safel introduce him/her with the bigger 2. They arent very nice and scare the crap out of my HUGE female sowrdtail and mess with my 1 inch sword and my 1 inch guppy in there. They also bully eachother, but no damage ever occurs.

Personally, when I had Angelfish, I didn't have problems with size. But if you wanna be careful, then wait for your new one to grow to about 2, 2 1/2 inches. It should be fine then.

How long do you Suppose that will take? The only reason im being careful as i've had some nasty angels before, dont want to have a causalty.

Thanks, right now he dosent seem to be eating, but it's his first day, hopefully he comes around. I had my fav lfs feed him and him and a bunch of other small ones almost flew outta the water trying to get to the food, so thats a good sign. They also had some blue blushers, but i wasnt prepared to pay 18 dollars ( E9) for a 5 inch tall blue blusher. How often should i do w/c with him in there? The tnak nis considerd over stocked, but not for long, it's temporary.

Crap... I wish I still had a book on this... but I'm pretty sure that if you do an above average number of water changes, your Angelfish will grow faster.

lol, i figuerd, more often, equals less growth hormone in the water, wich equals faster growing, but is the growth significant enough to do the water changes?

Increased water changes will impact growth, as will temperature and frequency/amount of feeding.

Bring the temperature up to as high as is safe for the tankmates, change 25% daily or 50% every other day with the water, and feed small frequent meals throughout the day.

Yes, I was going to say the above.

Clean water always helps.

I purchased a small angelfish about 3 weeks ago. At the time, the body was only about nickel to dime sized. It is now about quarter sized. I am cleaning the tank every day or other day...

Feeding 3x daily...

I got 2 pic's! Sorry about Quality! Here they are:

Now you can see why im worried about him! He/she is just so tiny!

I picked up ANOTHER ANGEL! Im going angel crazy! It is about the same size, and has some cool bronze platinum look to it. So, im doing even more frequent changes now. THey arent being nice to eachother , so i took the bully( the nt new one) and put it in a net and am letting th eother one get used tot eh tank first, then i let the other one go, as it's just a lil bigger.

I let the bully go last night and he is at it again. Should i just leave them to eat and hope they dont kill eachother? HELP!
