How Long Will It Take For My Kribs To Settle Down

Have a look at my 260l tank (link in sig) There are some pictures of my pair of kribs there, unfortunately I lost the female to a bacterial infection a few weeks ago :( All the fry seem okay though so I guess thats a bonus. The male krib has now tagged onto my male blue Ram and they follow each other around the tank (very odd!). Got loads of baby kribs in there now from 1 1/2 cm to over 1 inch long now. Going to the petshop for store credit this weekend.

Enjoy your kribs, they are ace parents, do you have any other fish in there (except the minnow)?

Just leave them to it. Give it a week say, and then look for eggs.

nice pics and thanks for the reply. i keep coming home from college every day looking for eggs and it has only been 2 days i am just overly excited i guess. all they do all day is stay in their cave. why is this.
also i put like a lil flowerpot in which they have inspected ttogether but went to the old cave. the clowerpot has much more room and is more enclosed. why dont they like it haha.
comon people i know you have got pics of your kribs and their fry or eggs lol
keep posting

Waitwait you don't actually lift up the cave or anything do you? Don't disturb anything!

I guess you'll never know why they didn't go for the flowerpot, just personal choice I guess. Leave it in anyway it won't do any harm.

I know it's exciting but it's just best to leave them be to get on with it in private.

no haven touched their cave just put another one in ll. i realy want them to have eggs haha.
thanks for you replies and if anyone has any pictures plzzzzzzzzzzz post

I have a lonely male krib (currently stalking my male Ram) if you would like a mate for your lonely female honeythorn. FOC to a good home.

Thankyou for the offer but I don't want to breed them any longer I'm afraid. I did when I first got them, but not any more. I haven't the time or space for fry unfortunately.
