One of my platties has got white fungus around one of her gills and a little on her tail.
I treated the water a week ago as soon as I noticed it and again for a second time yesterday (as per the instructions).
Depending on the light, I can't make up my mind whether it looks like it's getting better or not yet.
How long would it normally take to cure (if she survives)?
I've read that fungus attacks can result from stress and/or poor water. I've been doing water changes (6-8L from a 30L tank) about avery 10 days. The plattie has recently given birth to about 12 fry.
Are either like to have contributed to her condition?
