How long should it take

I'm planning on getting a new 10g, and I will get a filter the same size I already have, and I will use that carterage in the new tank, and I will use water and gravel from my est. tank also. How long should it take to be ready for fish?

with a new tank if u use old gravel and filter media then u can add fish instantly
