How long have you been in the fishkeeping hobby..

I been in the hobby one and a half years.

Had a Pond with Goldfish, Fancy ones too, Orfes and Koi since i was about 9 years old. Got my first Tropical set up just last month, or was it the begining of this month, oh i can't remember.

20 years. ive kept goldfish, most tropicals and bred a few as well.

I had my first tank (under my dad's control ) when I was in 1st grade (6yrs old) and I'm 13 now, so that's 7 years of keeping fish, although there were always fish in the house when I was little

I had my first tank when I was 10...a nice little 10 gallon, that lasted about 4 years. Then my parents said no more fish , but I usually had a Betta around somewhere. Now I'm 22 and I have 11 tanks set up. So technically I've been keeping fish for about 12 years now, and hopefully there will be many more happy years to come.

i got more interested in our pond about 2-3 years back and got my first tropical tank in july this year and now on my 6th tank!!

Well i have had my own tanks ever since i moved in with my fiance which is nealy 5 years, but my there has always been fish tanks in the family, my beloved great grandad kept fish and animals all his life and i think it was him who sparked mu intrest, and there have always been tanks in the family, so i suppose you can say all my life (23 yrs) my mum and dad have still got their 4ft tank and my youngest niece who is 12 is now wanting to start fiskeeping, so i suppose you could say that it has been passed on for generations!!

I have had goldfish though....in a small bowl....scrubbed the tank out once a month...no filter......

They lived for 7 years

Its been the same with me exept Im a tad older and have 3-4 years more
