Hi,

Just wondering how long it will roughly take for Java moss to attach itself to some bogwood?

I guess this is something of an open ended question but rough ideas would be useful.

Thanks,

Dan

I rescaped my Quarantine tank a week ago, and by this week the java moss had quite a few tendrils that had a good 'grip' on the plant weights I had used to hold it down.

Mine was attached to the bogwood after 10 days (but i hadn't checked before then). I dose daily Carbo and Ferts which may have sped up the process. I also cut the moss back after two weeks to promote growth closer to the bogwood.

Then it generally get a haircut every 4-6 weeks depending on how i feel.
