By coppered I assume you mean bronze, corys are long lived fish & can take a couple of years to get to full size

I agree. I have a couple of juvis just over a year old that are just 3/4 the size of the adults.

It all depends on what you consider to be selling size.
It also depends on what you feed them, how much you feed them, how clean you keep their water and a myriad of other factors.
