Are you using them to feed your oscar, poor things, you will have to get your tank ph to match the dam ph, so yes that would be a good idea.

Yeah poor things but the Osars looove them

Its pretty amazing actually. My son inlaw got 2 oscars at the same time that I did.
After maybe 3 months mine are at least 3 times bigger. His are feeding on blood worms mine on the poor little guppies

Dont worry its all over very quickly ) I just dont want to waste them by them dying before they visit the oscar tank.

And I love guppys, but i no it would happen in nature, so I should stop being soft, just raise your ph but I don't no how you do it as I have never messed with my ph, heard of ph adhjusters and thats about it.

Its not difficult at all to adjust but to maintain at that level may be a differnent story

The mosquito fish are actually an introduced species here in Aust and cause alot of damage to native species in the wild.
