How Long Do I Remove Carbon Filter For Treating Ich?

I have removed the carbon filter after treating my fish for ich. How long do i need to leave this out for to ensure the fish are getting all the meds. The filter is being stored in aquarium water off to the side right now.

you remove the carbon as long as you have the medications in.

Look into the heat and salt method for ick....No scaleless fish like loaches though..
