My daughter Mirren was 1 year old two weeks ago so this is my first real fathers day, Jude is out all afternoon so we are going to have a 'daddy daughter day'.

She bought me 2 DVD's aswell...Hot Fuzz and Pursuit of Happiness!

She is wearing her new summer dress today and has been playing her piano for me. We are going to do some painting later and maybe get her paddling pool out since its sunny but before that she will be going for a sleep...she is very moody and no fun when she is tired. (she gets that from her mother!)

Ahh, a budding musician. :good: Nice outfit as well, first Father's Days are a blast. I plan on goofing off for most of the day, with a little break to burn some steaks on the grill. I'm doing good on the goofing off part so far.

We're busting out a campfire for my dad this afternoon. :) Your daughter is adorable... love the hat.

Oh, she is just adorable!!! Happy Father's Day to you.

My stepson and I are still waiting for my husband to wake the heck up..... :S

Thank you, she is such a wee angel.

She has been so chatty today, she cant talk but its funny listening to her try and what it sounds like she is saying.
For example, she has just told me a big story which I'm sure made sense to her but to me it sounded like "In to town with braces, balloon for Mick Jagger"

I laughed but maybe she does need me to take her into town to buy braces and wants to buy Mick Jagger a balloon while we are there....who knows.

Oh, I'm quite sure she was indicating that she's prefer to wear her finest attire when you take her to that lovely french restaurant in town for a special Father's Day Brunch today.....

This is my first one too, and it is going great. I was greeted this morning with a big smiling face and my wife made a huge breakfast. Now, we are just waking up from our post-breakfast nap.....Laziness is great!!

You are very lucky, I was up at 6am to go and clean all the take away wrappers and whatever else the 'party people' from Saturday night had decided to dump in the street for me to sweep up (work for North Ayshire Counsil)

Aaaw, she looks just like her mommy. What a beautiful little girl. Can't believe she's a year old already. Plans for any more little tots then??

Great pics.

:D

She does look like her mother...but at least she's healthy heh heh heh, only joking, her mother is beautifull too!

We'd like to have 3, I hope we have another girl and a boy because we already have the names planned but we'll see.

Our boy will be Findlay James and another girl will be Willow i think.

Beautiful little girl...
Surprisingly my daughter to be (due aug 17th) managed to get a fathers day card to me! I have suspicions that the gf may be involved, maybe she's just very advanced for her age....

While my card was at least 'signed' by Mirren....unless Jude has Parkinson's disease or wrote it out drunk!

Mirren did a painting for her mum for mothers day

and made her own card...

OMG I can't believe she is a year old already, it only seems like yesterday that you were telling us you had her. Ah how fast the time goes by...

Dylan chose a CD storage case for Dan, this is the second "real" gift he has chosen without my help, last year he bought him a torch - this year he bought him something Dan would like, as opposed to something Dylan would like to play with :)

Today was nice enough, Dan loved the card he made at nursery (little blue car with moving wheels on those little brass clip things so they actually turn) and he hand signed it writing his own name and no help  We bbq'd out, we did gardening (I hate gardening but I fake) and now we are listening to country music, it's 10pm and Bu is asleep so I guess that's us for the night.

My mom made him pancakes and we gave him a 2.0 GB camera card, which is 50$ MORE than mine, which was a 1.0 GB.

Mirren is so adorable!
I hope you had a fantastic day, my daughters bought my other half the "In Pursuit Of Happiness" DVD too. Fantastic film, so I hope you enjoy it!
