How Fast Will My Bacteria Die Off?

ive just removed 9 fish from my main tank and intend to add 9 more, the fish were removed last night and i will be adding hopefully the new ones this weekend. will my bacteria still be ok after a few days or will i need to add a few at a time? i removed 8 cory and a hillstream loach and want to add 9 dwarf neon rainbows so fish are of similar size etc

If the filter is still in the water it may survive upto around 3 days.
If out of the water only 1 hour.

wow quick reply the filter is still up and running in the tank. so i should be ok to add them tomorrow then?

Yeh, its fine


but just incase your not too sure about it, you could always add a few flakes of food. So the ammonia is there.
