i just bought a new 37 gallon (30 by 12 by 22) tank and was thinking of stocking it wiith the following:

2 Dario Botia Loach

2 angels

2 Golden Rams

10 Tetras (not sure what ones yet)

4 corys

3 Otos

Do all these seem compatible in a 37, any suggestions?

looks ok.if planted and u provide enough cover.look for the smaller breed angels i forgot what they are called.the have a smaller body and longer fins

any other suggestions or changes to my selection? I am also going to plant it

You will need more than 2 angels you will need at least 4 small ones so once they get bigger 2 of them will form a pair (become boyfriend and girlfriend) then you return the others. Also what ever kind of tetra you choose don't get neon tetras because once the angels get big enough they will become an afternoon snack for the angels.

i could care less if they pair up. I'll have no where else to put the frys

and i'm still think what tetras i wont and yes im aware of neons being Angels natural pray.

I think corys are better when there are 5 or more of the same.. like 5 peppered or 5 panda and such like.

Get atleast one angel, not 2, or 3. The veil tails or altum are the smaller ones.
Also, you might care if they become a breeding pair because they get extremely terrotorial and as these are mid-aggressive fish, they could do damage to their tank mates.

If you insiste getting tetras, I would suggest Congo's or Black Skirt tetra's (along that kinda line if you insist on keepin an Angel or 3)
The golden rams maybe be bullied by the Angels if you get 3.
The Queen loach (had no experience with them) should get along with the Corydoras too.
And the Otocinclus should be fine in there too. (as long as theres enough plants).

They are a schooling fish so you would probably get the full potential and their complete characteristics out of them with about 6

Really.. hmm nope nope no more fish... I tell you know though.. since I got my corys iv had nothing vacumed up at water change.. there excellent scavangers

yea but they shouldn't be used as working fish. they are great when there's loadza of them all with their barbels touching each other's. Thats the kinda thing I meant.

you cant help but have them working though.. you feed them bottom feeder pellets and they eat it, you have stuff on the bottom and they eat it.. the difference is noticed when I vacume the gravel once a week.. whats the harm in that? do I get more?

U should be more worried about the angels eating the ottos than the neon tetras. A decent sized tetra will not fit in the mouth of an angel. I had 2 large angels and plenty of neons, none disappeared, however they did kill my ottos.

Well you will have to care because if you only get 2 or 3 the bigger one will bully the other ones. So lose that attiude  and if you want angels get at least 4 and most angels will eat the eggs or other tank mates will eat the eggs before they hatch and even if they hatch they will be eaten. So you wouldn't have to worry about the fry.
